Unboxing and first power-on

What is in the box

The lamp, a fitted power cable for your country, a hex key for the head, and a card with the serial number. Dimpsy Halo also ships with a ceiling rose and two cable-length collars.

First power-on

Plug it in. The head glows dimly amber for about two seconds, brightens once, then settles at roughly half output. That sequence means the driver has passed self-test.

If nothing happens

Check the cable is fully seated at the lamp end — it clicks. If it is seated and the lamp stays dark, try a different socket before contacting us, because a failed driver and a dead socket look identical from the outside.
