Understanding the Warmfall curve
Why the light warms as it dims, and how the curve is shaped.
What the curve does
Output and colour temperature fall together. Full is 3,000K; the bottom of the range is 1,800K, roughly candlelight. The two are locked — you cannot set a bright 1,800K or a dim 3,000K.
Why it is not a straight line
The curve warms slowly through the top of the range, where you are still working, and quickly through the bottom, where you are not. A linear curve spends too much of its travel in a register nobody wants.
